Volunteer

Get involved

Are you looking for volunteer experience? Volunteers are always welcome to participate in assisting with a variety of tasks including cleaning toys and clerical duties. This is a great way to gain experience and knowledge about mental health services.

If you have any questions about volunteer opportunities, please contact us.

Student Internships

We also accept internships from local colleges and universities. Student interns allow The Wylie Center to carry out services in educating the community about the importance of early intervention services.

Our staff provide supervision and training for student interns while integrating skill-building and educational opportunities. Student interns also fulfill a variety of roles within the organization to assist in fundraising, as well as provide occupational therapy, counseling, education, and direct mental health services to clients in the clinical setting.

Community Outreach

Community outreach is a collaborative approach to increase public awareness about mental health services we provide to the communities in Riverside and San Bernardino County. Student interns and volunteers, along with staff, have the opportunity to engage with individuals in the community to provide public awareness and education.
